Foolproof Instant Pot Hard-Boiled Eggs

Quick, easy and perfect hard-boiled eggs every time
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Calories 72 kcal

Equipment

  • Instant Pot
  • Instant Pot Egg Rack
  • Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 6 each Large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • Ice for ice bath

Instructions
 

  • Pour 1 cup of water into your Instant Pot and place the trivet or steaming rack inside.
  • Arrange eggs gently on the rack in a single layer.
  • Secure the lid, needle to “sealing” and set to Manual / Pressure Cook for 5 minutes or tap the “egg” button.
  • When time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes.
  • Release any remaining pressure, carefully remove the lid, and transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to stop the cooking.
  • Tap each egg gently, roll, and peel. The shells slide right off!
  • Store in refrigerator up to 7 days.
