Tree Treasure No. 3: The Christmas London Came Home With Us

One of my favorite souvenirs from any trip is a Christmas ornament. There is something about placing it on the tree each year that brings the memories right back to life.

This one is from mine and Dave’s trip to London in 2016. It was our very first trip abroad together and London instantly became a place I will always hold close to my heart.

What makes this ornament even more special is that 2016 was also the year my daughter and I took a ten day mother and daughter trip to London to celebrate her 30th birthday and my 50th. Two unforgettable trips in one year. Two seasons of life that meant the world to me.

Every time I see this glass ornament shining on the tree, it reminds me of that year of adventure, connection, and memories I will never forget.
