Tree Treasure No. 2: A Little Dog Who Will Always Have A Special Place On Our Tree

This ornament holds such a special place on our tree. It is in remembrance of our sweet Shih Tzu, Carly. (I called her Carly-Roo) She came home to us at just six weeks old and she crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019 (on Dave’s birthday).

She was the last little one from our trio of Shih Tzu’s we had when we were a family of 4. Our house was so full of love during those years. Every time I look at this ornament, I can still see her tiny paws, her soft personality, and the way she made our home feel warm and complete.

It always amazes me how one ornament can carry so many memories and so much love. It feels like a small piece of her is still here with us each Christmas.
