Before We Turn the Page: A Pause Between What Was and What’s Next

Before we turn the page, I don’t want to rush past this moment.
The space between what has been and what hasn’t started yet.
This pause matters more than we give it credit for.
So many messages right now are about what’s next…new goals, fresh starts, big plans. And those have their place. But before any of that, I want to acknowledge what it took to get here.
This year held joy and stretching. Moments of growth I didn’t see coming.
Seasons that asked for patience, trust and presence instead of speed.
It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t easy. But it was meaningful.
And that counts.
Before we turn the page, I’m choosing to carry forward what grounded me; not what drained me. The lessons that softened me. The clarity that came from slowing down. The reminder that life doesn’t need to be rushed to be full.
I feel like we are always rushing now. We expect so much of life to be instant…like Amazon Prime overnight delivery.
I’m stepping into the next chapter without needing everything mapped out. Without pressure to reinvent myself overnight. Without urgency to prove anything.
Just with intention.
If you’re standing in this in-between space too… not quite ready to sprint forward, but not wanting to stay where you were; you’re not behind.
You’re right on time.
Before we turn the page, I’m choosing steadiness over speed. Presence over pressure. Trust over fear.
And I’m remembering that the future isn’t something to chase. It’s something to look toward with openness and hope.
I’m letting that be enough.
