Tree Treasure No. 7: A Season Of College and Coffee

This little red Starbucks cup always brings back such sweet memories. My son worked for Starbucks for three years while he was going to college, and during that season of life I collected almost every Christmas cup ornament they released. I have about a dozen of them on our tree.

Every single time I see one, I am taken right back to visiting him at work. Dave would get his coffee and I would get my tea, of course, and it always felt like such a proud mom moment. Watching him juggle school and work. Seeing him grow up in a whole new way. Those quick visits meant a lot to me.

It is funny how an ornament as simple as a tiny red cup can take you right back to a moment in time you never want to forget.
